I had the pleasure of dining at an excellent new Mexican restaurant last night with some foodie friends. We were happily greeted at the door and immediately offered cocktails. I enjoyed a house margarita as well as the mango margarita with Tajin around the rim and hot sauce mixed with the margarita. Absolutely delicious! I was a little weary about it at first but after sipping a taste of a friend’s margarita, I was sold!
The menu is pretty much in Spanish. Shows just how authentic this place really is. I love the variety of options the menu has to offer. Everything from ribeye steak to tacos, enchiladas to fajitas and much more. I went with the chicken fajitas and was NOT disappointed. It came with a helping portion of well seasoned grilled chicken, red and green bell peppers and onions. Included was giant sides of fresh guacamole, sour cream, refried beans, and seasoned Mexican rice. Oh and the tortillas! Can’t forget the tortillas! They are fresh made in the kitchen right in front of you. Love it!
The service was great! We got to meet the owners daughter and the lovely staff at Villagran! I am a huge fan and will definitely be back. If you haven’t checked out this beautiful place, you should. Add it to the calendar because it is worth it!
